Project Management

Every Applied Geodetics project automatically includes Project Management. However, there may be other GIS projects our clients are implementing within the City or enterprise that have need of a Project Manager to ensure that they receive the product they asked for within budget and on time. GIS (AM/FM) Design & Implementation

The objective of Geographic Information Systems is to allow our clients to make informed decisions in a timely manner using all of the pertinent information that is available to them. In order to achieve this we design and implement Asset Management and Facility Management databases that will aide them in their decision-making processes.

GIS Data Collection & Conversion

Once the Asset and Facility Management databases have been designed to reflect the needs of our clients, we then collect all of the necessary information from the original source and convert it to digital format.

Field Inventory & Verification

With the aim of attaining a comprehensive view of what truly exists as compared to what has been found in paper source we provide our clients with a physical Field Inventory. We have the ability to verify what is in the field with GPS and Digital Imaging so that our clients can virtually see their infrastructure assets, such as:

Digital Street And Parcel Maps

Applied Geodetics is an authorized vendor of both the Los Angeles and Orange County base maps. We also design the digital street and parcel maps from Aerial Photography and original Landbase Documents based upon our Clients specifications.

GIS And Facility Management Integration

There are many facility and asset management systems available to manage enterprise assets, pavement management, create work orders and track capital and maintenance costs. However, most of these systems do not provide the ability to display this information using your GIS system to produce a map.

Applied Geodetics integration services provides a dynamic link between your GIS and facility management system allowing you to display mission critical information such as maintenance trends, scheduled work and routing information on a map.

Address & Land Use Verification

Address verification: Accurate information is essential when dispatching emergency crews, preparing mailing lists for project notification, and maintaining the city’s address database.

Land Use verification: Today, federal, state, and local governments regulate growth and development through Land Use and addressing ordinances enacted to ensure organized growth. While a business license or building permit may indicate one type of land use, actual land use may vary from the planned use.

Applied Geodetics provides field collection and verification services to ensure the actual land use complies with established ordinances. We use Global Positioning System (GPS), Digital Imaging and Field Data Collection Personnel to collect and verify Address and Land Use.

GIS Master Services Agreement

A successful GIS System requires constant updates to reflect the changes that naturally occur over time in our environment. We know that a GIS system is only as good as the information it contains. That is why we offer our clients the option of a Master Services Agreement.

The Master Services Agreement is a negotiated "Not-to-Exceed" annual hourly billing contract. Services are billed on an "as needed" basis at Applied Geodetics' hourly billing rates.
